In this assignment, we are required to select one case study from the topics and do a comparative study of similar topics with a local case study. We have to document our findings in a form of presentation board consist of text (short summary) and images that best represent the topic discussed. It is an individual project and we are individual to produce an A3 presentation board on the selected case study and a series of reflection video on the case study. In our presentation board, we are required to highlight the basic information, design intention, caracteristics, management of the space, typology, function, and how people response to the space. The topic I've chosen was Streetscapes in Petaling Street which located in local and High Street, located in United Kingdom and I am going to do the research and comparison between these two site.
REFLECTION:
After done this project, I have learned a lot of knowledges and information about streetscapes like there are many type of street, and different type of street have different functions. Besides that, I also get to know the street's design intention is related to it's characteristic and how they manage the street space and cleanliness.
